About Tucksy

Parenthood changes fast. We help you make sense of it.

One week, your baby is sleeping beautifully. The next, you're awake at 3:17 a.m. wondering why they're suddenly up every two hours, whether naps are broken forever, and how something that was working perfectly three days ago has completely fallen apart.

Parenthood is full of moments like this.

The problem isn't that there isn't enough advice. There is so much advice. Articles. Forums. Group chats. Videos. Search results. Opinions from people who swear their way is the way.

Sometimes, you don't need more information. You just need to understand what's happening.

That's why we built Tucksy.

Why Tucksy exists

For the moments that make you think, “wait… is this normal?”

Tucksy started with sleep because sleep has a habit of changing just when you think you've figured it out. But babies don't exist in neat little sleep schedules, and neither do parents.

Development changes things. Teething changes things. Separation anxiety changes things. Nursery changes things. Travel changes things. Sometimes seemingly nothing changes and bedtime still decides to become a two-hour negotiation.

So Tucksy is becoming a place for making sense of the messy, changing reality of early parenthood.

Not a rulebook. Not another place telling you you're doing it wrong.

Just thoughtful, useful support for figuring out what might be happening and what you can do next.

How Tucksy works

Ask. Read. Relate.

Three ways to make the messy bits a little easier to understand.

  1. 01

    Ask

Something changed tonight? Ask Tucksy. Tell us what's happening and we'll help you think through what might be going on and where to start.

    Ask →
  2. 02

    Read

Go a little deeper with practical, evidence-informed stories and guides about sleep, development and the things parents keep finding themselves Googling at unreasonable hours.

    Read →
  3. 03

    Relate

Because sometimes the most reassuring thing you can discover is that someone else's baby is doing the exact same strange thing.

    Relate →

What we believe

Less panic.
More understanding.

We don't believe there is one perfect way to parent.

We don't believe every difficult night needs fixing.

And we definitely don't think you need another seventeen-step routine to remember when you've slept for approximately four hours.

We believe good support starts with understanding what is happening.

Useful, not overwhelming
Give you somewhere to begin, not twenty more things to worry about.
Evidence-informed, not absolute
Child development is complicated. Families are different. Good guidance should leave room for both.
Human, not perfect
Parenthood can be lovely, boring, hilarious, lonely, frustrating and completely exhausting, occasionally before breakfast.
Supportive, not judgemental
There are enough opinions about how to raise a child already. We don't need to add another wagging finger.

Built with care

Because parents deserve information they can trust.

Tucksy's baby sleep, child health and wellness content is developed with a focus on current evidence, child development and clear, compassionate communication.

Relevant educational content is reviewed for general accuracy by Dr. Muhammad Suffyan Rasheed, MBBS, a UK General Medical Council (GMC)-registered physician with more than eight years of postgraduate clinical experience, including work across paediatrics, neonatology and paediatric emergency medicine.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Suffyan has experience in medical writing and child health education, helping translate complex medical information into guidance that parents can actually understand.

Tucksy provides educational information and support, not personalised medical advice. If you're concerned about your child's health or wellbeing, please speak with an appropriate healthcare professional.
